John T. Lee, OD
Dr. Lee was born in Oklahoma City, OK and grew up and went to school in El Reno, OK. He went to Oklahoma State University and received his doctorate in Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry. He is certified in Therapeutic Optometry, Ocular Surface Disease, and Pharmacology. He is also certified in Orthokeratology. Dr. Lee has studied with Dr. Sami El Hage in Houston, TX, Dr. Forest Shed in Norman, OK, and Dr. Mason Hurt in Memphis, all of whom are nationally recognized in the field of Orthokeratology.
Dr. Lee was the Eye Clinic Director at Dunham Army Hospital at the US Army War College in Carlisle, PA. He served three years in the 330th Hospital Unit, spent a great deal of time in the VA Hospital, and has also worked with the Shelby County Health Department.
Dr. Lee is also a refractive laser surgery consultant and performs pre-op and post-op care for cataract and other eye surgeries for leading ophthalmologists in the Memphis area. He has a special emphasis in Glaucoma Management, the treatment of Chronic Dry Eye syndrome, and the treatment of eye infections and injuries.
Additionally, Dr. Lee is a member of the Tennessee Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and the West Tennessee Optometric Association. He is past president of the White Station Lion's Club and also past president of the King Cotton Toastmasters. Dr. Lee lives in Germantown and is a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.
Landon Wallace, OD
Landon Wallace, O.D. is a Therapeutic Optometrist certified in Ocular Surface Disease, Pharmacology, and Injections serving the Mid-South community. A residency-trained Optometrist, Dr. Wallace believes in the importance of utilizing the latest technologies and treatments and is passionate about providing world-class vision and medical eye care to patients of all ages.
Dr. Wallace graduated from Henderson State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Wallace furthered his training by completing an Optometric Residency in Hospital-Based Primary Care with an emphasis in Ocular Disease at the VA Medical Center in Memphis, TN. There he gained experience in the treatment and management of ocular disease, such as diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Dr. Wallace trained extensively in the use of advanced diagnostics including fluorescein angiography and optical coherence tomography.
In addition, Dr. Wallace works closely with the ophthalmologists in the area in providing primary and post-operative care. He prides himself on using the latest technologies in contact lenses and modern methods in the treatment of Dry eye syndrome. Dr. Wallace has lectured on topics involving corneal dystrophies and retinal vascular occlusive disease.
Dr. Wallace’s wife Deanna is a Mid-South native, and they are happy to be in the area where they live in East Memphis with their son Jed. They enjoy traveling as often as they can and are active members of Germantown Baptist Church.
